A home is never just a building. It’s where life happens, and that personal connection is what I bring to every client I work with.

My bond with the Oregon Coast started early, with family trips to Cannon Beach while growing up in Seattle, then weekends windsurfing and surfing here during college. After 12 years of teaching high school and 12 more in engineering, I followed that early instinct and moved to Seaside, where I taught for another 10 years. Today my wife, our cat, and I live in Cannon Beach on a wooded property we’re gradually returning to native habitat, so I know firsthand what it takes to care for a coastal home.

Teaching taught me to explain complicated things clearly, and engineering taught me to scrutinize the details. Both matter when you’re making one of the biggest decisions of your life. I still cherish the first house I ever bought, and I was thrilled to sell it to someone I know who loves it as much as I did. That’s the joy I want for my clients, whether you’re buying your first coastal home, relocating from the city, or selling a place your family has loved for years.
